This one-of-one work confronts the collapse of ideals through the fractured image of Athena — goddess of wisdom and strategy. Her once-immortal marble form is scarred: cracked, vandalised, and fading beneath layers of graffiti.

A neon-lit laurel crown, traditionally a symbol of triumph, flickers instead as something artificial — victory hollowed out, unstable in its glow.

The frame itself, sculpted to evoke shattered stone and urban ruin, mirrors her decay. Together, image and frame form a relic of a civilisation eroded, wisdom reduced to noise, and guiding icons lost in the static of modernity.
